Obituary of Carol E Heinz

Heinz, Carol E. Age 84, of New Hope, MN, passed away August 9, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers and a sister. Carol served in the Air Force where she met her husband Robert Heinz. She worked for Minnegasco for many years and was a loyal and extremely dedicated employee until she retired in 1999. She loved playing cards, completed countless jigsaw puzzles, enjoyed watching all TV game shows and sports (especially golf, tennis and the Twins), and was an avid crossword puzzler and Scrabble player. She NEVER let anyone win and taught several generations the joy of competition. She is survived by her loving children Mark, Joe (Sheila), Marcy (Michael), and Pete (Bill); grandchildren Christina (Mike), Joy (Steve), Natalie (David), Elizabeth (Joe), Charlie, Amy, Jess (Dan), and Hannah; and great-grandchildren Isabella, Jeremiah, Lily, Grace, Noah, Olivia, Malachi, Faith, Abbyelle and Tyler. Private service for family only. The family thanks the gentle and compassionate caregivers at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice for making her final days as peaceful as possible
