Obituary of Madison Hamrick

Madison “Doc” Hamrick was born in Webster Springs, WV, on March 9, 1947. He passed away from AML leukemia at the age of 71 on August 11, 2018. Doc Hamrick went to work at Sun Country Airlines on November 27, 1989, until his retirement on November 1, 2017. He was preceded in death by parents, William Homer and Belva Hamrick; brothers, William Homer, Jr. and Paul Hamrick and sister Geneva Denson. Doc is survived by wife, Claudia; daughter, Heather (Keith) and granddaughter, Alexandra; daughter, Missy (Jay) and granddaughter, Zoe; sisters, Elizabeth (Ebie) and partner Becky Lyons of Milton, DE and Jeanice (Ed) Gerwig of Webster Springs, WV; brother, Gerald Hamrick of Ohio; adopted brother, Bud and many other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2018 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
