Obituary of Gary L. Holmbo

Gary L. Holmbo, age 68, of Blaine, MN, passed away September 23, 2017. Gary worked at the University of Minnesota Chemistry Department for 36 years, retiring in 2011. Preceded in death by his father, Dale Holmbo, and brother, Allen Holmbo. Survived by mother Lorraine Holmbo; wife Candace; son Mark (Jennifer) Meagher; daughter Jill Spencer; grandsons Remington Meagher, Jake Spencer; brother Dwight (Kathleen) Holmbo, and many beloved relatives and friends. Memorial Service on Sunday, October 1, at 2PM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN. Visitation following service. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Conservation Volunteer.
