Obituary of David Michael Ruse

David Michael Ruse, 54, of Superior, WI passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, after nearly a year of battling Mantle Cell Lymphoma Cancer. David was born in San Antonio, TX on October 30, 1962. He joined the US Air Force in 1982 and served until he was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1992. David worked as a supervisor with the US Postal Service for 23 years. He loved playing darts, fishing, football (Dallas Cowboys) and softball. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna. David is survived by his wife, Linda; children, David, Jr. (Sheryl) and Joshua (Ashley); step-children, Michael (Tina), Jason, Justin (Crystal) and Blake; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; father, Roger (Irene); sister, Debbie; and other loved family and friends. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 in First Memorial Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth. Service: 3 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 with Visitation time one hour prior, in First Memorial Chapel.
