Obituary of Beverly Therese Richardson

Beverly Therese Richardson, 85, of Duluth, Minnesota, was gathered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Essentia Health in Duluth. Beverly was born in Richardton, North Dakota on May 7, 1932 to Leonard and Cedonia Braulick. She graduated from St. Scholastica with a degree in Medical Record Library Science. In 1954, Beverly was married to Gordon Richardson and they had five children. Together they lived all over the United States. Beverly spent the majority of her career, before and after raising her children, at Essentia Health (St. Mary's). A professional mother and homemaker, she will be remembered for her love, encouragement, strength and generosity. Everyone who met her loved her gentleness. Always putting others before herself, she lived a life filled with the Spirit. She loved Jesus above all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Cedonia. Beverly is survived by her husband Gordon of 63 years; children, Lisa (Douglas) Hultberg, Brian (Tammy), Dean (Tammy), Daniel, Nancy (Bob) Adams; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; brother Richard (Phyllis) Braulick; sister Diana Perth, sister-in-law Rosemary Paulson (John) as well as many extended family members and friends. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Nate, Lis and Karen on 3 East at Essentia and to the staff at Benedictine Health Center.
