Obituary of Terrence J. Andrews

Terry was born in Duluth, Minnesota on August 5, 1937 to Leroy and Margaret Andrews. He spent the majority of his career working for Canteen Vending and Mielke Electric. Terry enjoyed fishing and hunting in the hills of McGregor, Minnesota as well as flower and vegetable gardening. His green thumb could bring any withering plant back from the brink. He will be fondly remembered as gruff on the outside, but kind and sentimental on the inside. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Patrick and sister Polly LaPlante. Terry is survived by his wife Joanne of 45 years; sons, Richard (Tammy), Randy (Pam), Greg (Kathy), Gary (Rachael) and Scott Andrews; step-children, Cathy Swanson, Steven (Cheryl) Cooke and Sherri (Bob) Riley; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy (Joan St. John) Andrews, Joe (Brenda) Andrews, John (Cathy) Carter, Meg (Jay) Shearer; sister-in-law Trudy Andrews as well as many extended family members and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Heck and the nurses in the SICU. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9 A.M. until the 10 A.M. memorial service on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN.
