Grandpa was the kind of guy who took his 21 year old granddaughter, laid her head down on his lap, and rubbed her temples because she said she had a migraine. He was also a man strong passions and he wanted to share them with my brother Marty and myself. Some of my fondest memories with grandpa are going to park by the airport runway with binoculars and watch the planes land while grandpa explained the different parts to us. He was also so interested in technology and wanted to see the latest things we could do with our phones whenever we came. Or at least he was a good actor : ) Grandpa's voice was the kind that you wanted to listen to while you were falling asleep, but his stories were the kind that filled you with life. I loved his smile and his laugh and I miss him every day. He was incredibly lucky to call Pam Reinardy his daughter and had her by his side until the very last moments. She was so devoted to his care- often to her own detriment. I love you Mom. You're amazing.
