My grandma Mary was a pillar within our family. Stoic in her strength and quiet in her support and grace. Growing up I had a village thanks to my Grandma Mary and Grandpa Don. There was no doubt in my mind that nothing truly horrible could happen to me without at least having their full support. Which was proven time and again throughout my amazing life with them. My daughter is named after her and her strength lives on in my Mom, my brother, and myself- I see it all the time. It certainly lives on in my Mom, Pam, who has worked TIRELESSLY over the last several years to be present in her parent's lives, to advocate for them when they needed it, to love them and care for them the way we all pray that our kids will show up for us some day. My Mom Pam was an amazing daughter and is my very favorite woman in the world. I wish I could give to her what she gives to all those around her. Thank you Mom. We all love you so much. And Grandma- I saw a cardinal today- I know you're with me ;)
