Obituary of Frank Zallar

Frank Zallar, 42, succumbed to end stage liver disease peacefully on October 11, 2017 at Essentia Health with his loving family at his side. He was born October 18, 1974 to John and Suzanne (Bane) Zallar in Duluth. He graduated from East High School and UMD. Frank will be remembered for his beautiful voice and the choirs he directed at St. Michael's Church. After college Frank worked for several group homes in Minneapolis. He was a Program Director for Capstone Services. His kind, caring, merciful treatment of his clients was appreciated by family and guardians. Frank is survived by his parents; brother's Jim and Pete (Sara), beloved nephew Hendrix of Madison; uncle's David (Janet) Zallar of Anoka and Robert (Ruby) Zallar of Duluth; aunt, Karen Bane of Alaska and several cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Frank on Saturday, October 14th between 10 am and noon at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN. Please wear bright, happy clothes to help us celebrate his life. The family wants to thank the wonderful staff at Abbot Northwestern, Bayshore and Essentia Health for their kindness and care.
