Obituary of Cheryl L. Mitsch

Mitsch, “Sherry” Cheryl L.

Age 76 of Bloomington, MN passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2022. Sherry was a caregiver to the core. She proved this by becoming one of the first Certified Nurse Practitioners in OB/GYN in MN. When she retired from nursing, she stayed home with the kids. This opened up more opportunities for trips to San Diego, watching movies, listening to music, crocheting afghans as well as meeting up with the girls. Sherry loved her many trips with Wayne to Door County. When the grandkids came, she became known as "Nana". She enjoyed spending time with them and hearing all about their activities. 

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lois Danberg.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Wayne; her two children, Scott and Kelli (Mark) and 5 grandchildren, Kiana, Collin, Mason, Braeden and Cameron. Sherry is also survived by her siblings; Debbie, Wendy, Bobbi and Jeff along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Cremation Society of MN, 7710 France Ave, Edina, MN. Visitation will start at noon and reception to follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to an organization of your choice in which children will benefit.
