Obituary of Mayme Irene Olson

Mayme Irene "Toots" Olson 84, longtime resident of Duluth passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 14, 2018 while at the Viewcrest Health Center. She was born January 29, 1934 in Superior to Edward and Irene Nelson. Mayme was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold H. Olson; son, Daryl; and grandson, Jesse Lee. She is survived by her children, Sandra (Clayton) Laurvick, Superior, WI, Gregory (Loreen) Olson, Iron River, WI and Cheryl (Robert) Ruby, Chanhassen, MN; six grandchildren, Heather Olson, James Ruby, LeeAnn Ruby, Ashley (Jordan) White, Daniel Olson and Bradley Ruby; great-granddaughter, Riley White. The family would like to thank the staff of Viewcrest for their great care of Mayme. Gathering of family and friends from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service Tuesday, Aug 21st in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
