Obituary of Vivian Margaret Lou Johnson

Vivian passed at St. Luke's Hospice on Monday, October 16, 2017 after a long illness. Vivian was born to James Line and Dorcas Gravelle on October 28, 1933 in Progress, MN. She grew up on a farm and attended school in Cromwell, MN. Vivian enjoyed baking, listening to country music, attending concerts and playing slot machines at Bear Casino. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Vivian retired from the Family Galley. She will be lovingly remembered by everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Joyce, Virginia (twin), Larry Line, a special niece Ginny and husband Gerald (Dewey) Johnson. She is survived by sons, Jerry (Karen) Johnson, Gary (Noel) Johnson, Larry (Julie) Johnson, daughter LaVonne Brown, brothers, Art, Jim, and Dale Line, sister Lorraine Gangl, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and brother-in-law Robert J. (Barbara) Johnson. The family wishes to thank St. Luke's Hospice, Dr. Capps and Dr. Popham. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9 am until the 10 am memorial service on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth, MN.
