Obituary of John J. Loehr

LOEHR, John J., age 79, of Mpls, previously of Melrose, passed away on October 19, 2017. Veteran, USAF. Preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Anna Loehr; brother in-law, David Althaus. He will be deeply missed by his children, Jacqueline Loehr-Anderson (Russell), Janel Loehr, John Loehr, Jr. (Suzanne Richcreek); grandson, Nicholas Swanson; Nick’s father, Craig Swanson; siblings, Lucille Athmann (Joseph), Donald Loehr (Ardell), Vernon Loehr (Julie), Judy Marthaler (Joel), Ralph Loehr (Kathy), Diane Althaus; many relatives and good friends. Visitation 1 ½ hours before service. Memorial Service 11am Friday, November 17th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100). Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery 1pm Friday with honors. Family will process from the Brooklyn Park Chapel at Noon with escort and plan arriving 1245pm to gather in Assembly Area #2 before being taken to the commital shelter for honors and final prayers.
