Obituary of William Preston

William “Bill” Preston, born in 1932 in Kimberly, passed away Oct. 19, 2017, in Shakopee. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Delphine; and daughter, Janelle L. Preston. He is survived by his daughters, Diane Preston-Anderson, Shakopee; and Lori Preston-Weglein and her husband, Milton Weglein; sister, Alice Hurd, seven granddaughters; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. At Bill’s request there is no funeral. However, we are going to have a celebration of his life at Jackson’s Hole in Lawler. We will be having a potluck celebration from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. Please come and join us and bring your favorite dish to share. Internment will be at Sheriff Lake at a later date.
