Obituary of Donna Jean Hassel

Donna Jean (Koch) HASSEL(1937 - 2017) Age 80, of Roseville & Centerville MN Passed peacefully 10/23/2017 Born September 25, 1937, St Paul MN. Proud alumni of Pasadena City College, Pasadena, CA. Retired from U of M School of Nursing. Preceded in death by parents Donald and Dorothy Godeman, and adoptive parents William and Ellen Koch, brother Neil Koch, and daughter Amy. Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Frank (Pete) Hassel. Donna was the loving mother of 5 children Kathy (Craig) Tweet, Tom (Misti), Todd (Joleen) Tim (Sharon), Sue Sheppard (Damian), 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. Sister in law Sandy Koch, brothers and sisters in law Len (Mary Jo) Hassel, Skip (Pat) Hassel, Janet (Jerry) Annerl and many close relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the University of MN School of Nursing. Special thanks to the staff of White Pines Memory Care and St Croix Hospice. Celebration to be held Tuesday 10/31 at St Genevieve Church, Centerville MN. Visitation at 10am, service at 11am, and luncheon to follow.
