Obituary of Dorothy Mae Thompson

THOMPSON (Pearson), Dorothy Mae, age 92, passed away on October 24, 2017. Dorothy grew up in NE Minneapolis. There she met her husband Hugo, they moved to Roseville near Lake Owasso in the mid 1950’s where they raised their family. She retired from the City of Roseville, and went on to enjoy being an associate at JC Penney. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugo N. Thompson. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Carla (Mark) Hylle, Paula Thompson (Jenine Capeder); grandchildren, Jason Hylle (Rachel Melling), Leah Hylle; sister, Norma Foster; relatives and good friends. Celebration of Life 11:30am, Thursday, November 9, at Hope Free Lutheran Church, 18323 Lexington Ave., Columbus MN 55092. Visitation 1 hour before service, with lunch to follow. Memorials will be accepted for Dorothy’s favorite charities. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
