Obituary of Jean L. Borg

Jean Lavonne Borg Age 78, of Columbia Heights, MN passed away surrounded by family on October 25, 2017, at St. Anthony Health Care Center. Jean was born on 10/12/39 to Mildred & Cecil Marler. Jean was a loving, generous and creative person. She loved decorating, fashion, collecting, poetry and writing stories. She enjoyed music, old movies, singing karaoke and had a wonderful sense of humor. She ran her own daycare business for many years. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and had a strong faith in our Creator. Jean was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Mildred Marler. Jean was Survived by her brother, Gary Marler; children, Lynda (Glenn) Mackenzie, Mike (Jean) Borg, Renee (Steve) Bausworth, Jack (Jennifer) Borg, Patty Borg; Grandchildren, Cortney, Chelsie, Rachelle, Andrew, Bronson, Frankie, Shinika, Ruby, Liberty, and Jasmine; Great-grandchildren, Landon, Sophie, Cazmir, and her future great-grandson, Jack. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 4th at 2:00 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, on 221 Silver Lake Road, New Brighton.
