Obituary of Marie Ann Olson

Marie Ann Olson, age 86, of Duluth passed away Thursday, October 26th 2017 in Chris Jensen. She was born December 8, 1930 in Duluth to Peter and Karen Hegle. Marie was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church. Marie was a member at the Duluth YMCA where she taught baby Aqua Tots for 20 years. She also loved walking with her dogs. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Roy Hegle and sister-in-law Phylis. She is survived by her husband Ronald; children Larry (Diane), Anna (Sean) and Jeff; grandchildren Paige, Joseph and Melissa; brother Ken (June), and nieces and nephews, Kurt, Jeanne, Karl and Kathryn. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 3rd at 3 p.m. at St. Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Superior St., Duluth, with a visitation one hour prior. We want to thank the staff at Chris Jensen for the wonderful care of our mother.
