Obituary of Evelyn M. Miller

Our Lord called Evelyn M. Miller to Himself on Saturday, October 28th. Evelyn was born to Frank J. (Pug) and Laura (Palmer) Connolly on November 30, 1925. She graduated from East High School in 1943 and completed her RN training, graduating from St. Luke's. She worked for many years as an RN at St. Mary's Hospital in Superior, and then at Superior Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1987. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Dodie Connolly, and grandson Peter. Evelyn is survived by her three sons, Michael (Pattie), Mark (Georgia), and Thomas (Rhonda). Siblings, William (Sue) Connolly, Thomas (Virginia) Connolly, and Sister Theresa Mae (KK) Connolly. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 11 (soon to be 12) great-grandchildren. Per Evelyn's wishes, no services will be held. Cremation Society of Minnesota is assisting the family with arrangements. A gathering of family and friends will be held on November 30, 2017, Evelyn's birthday, in the community room of the old Nelson Dewey school at 6:00 pm.
