Obituary of Chester ‘Chet’ Franczak

Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Chester (Chet) Franczak Jr. was born February 1, 1949 in Minneapolis, Mn to Chester and Rose (Balvin) Franczak. Chet graduated from North High. Chet was a jack of all trades, but worked at Lakeland Graphics for 23 years until he was was diagnosed with cancer in late July 2017. Chet was preceded in death by his sister MaryAnne Jackman, mother Rose Franczak, and father Chester Franczak Sr.Chet was survived by his wife, Vickie (Fultz) Franczak; children, Sherece/Dan Cocco, Alisha Franczak and Danna Franczak; children by marriage Jauna Fultz and Corey Stoll; grandchildren, Carly Franczak, Sierra Franczak, Dominick Cocco, Alaina Franczak, Zack Ekstedt, Michael Fultz, Breauna Campbell, Bryer Campbell, Cameron Bergan, and Christopher Bergan.; great –grandchildren, Brayden Ekstedt and KaeLeigh Ekstedt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Chet died at the age of 68 on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 in his home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 beginning at 1 PM, followed by luncheon at Fridley Alano Club at 6279 University Avenue, in Fridley.
