Obituary of James F. ‘Jim’ Pfau

Pfau, James F. "Jim" age 74, passed away November 2, in the Kenwood neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN. He was survived by his wife of 52 years Joanne and their 3 children; daughters Tina (Victor), Hilary (Chris) and son Jamie as well as 4 grandchildren (Keeler, Sebastian, Austin and Payton). Jim was born in Yonkers, NY and raised in Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Dartmouth College and earned his MBA at Tuck School. He spent the first half of his career in corporate America and the second half in entrepreneurial ventures. He suffered 30 years with a rare form of muscular dystrophy and died of a heart attack. He was a dynamic man who made an impression on all those that knew him. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Cathedral in Minneapolis on Saturday, November 11 at 2:00. There will be light refreshments served at the church after the service.
