Obituary of Audrey Charlene Hathaway

Audrey Charlene (Chuck) Hathaway, 85, of Zimmerman, MN passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Born September 2, 1932 in California to Andrew and Alice Dickey. She married George R. Hathaway September 12, 1951 and had five children. They lived in California, Washington and Virginia before making their home in Minnesota. Charlene enjoyed traveling with George on motorcycle, visiting friends and relatives nationwide. She loved the peace and quiet of their home that her and George built together. She looked forward to family celebrations and was known her for cooking, especially refried tacos. She is survived by her brother, Alvin (Corky) Dickey; children, Virgil (Virginia) Hathaway, Robert Neil (Carol) Hathaway, Sheryll (Jim) Mayes-Okerstrom, Karole (Dale) Hathaway, Laura (Quint) Crawford; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and niece and friends. Her parents, husband George and son Brian Todd (Quint) Hathaway preceded her in death. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Brooklyn Park Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.
