Obituary of Lucille Virgine Rudeck

Born September 26, 1918 in Mason, WI. to Carl L. Larson and Elise M (Westberg) Larson. Went to the Lord, November 10, 2017 in Duluth, MN. Lucille (Lucy) was a very compassionate, caring, loving and active lady. She enjoyed working and volunteering and continued doing so until age 96. Her career consisted of waitressing at the Golden Gate Supper Club in Scanlon, a bookkeeper for JC Penney's in Duluth, and "The Popcorn Lady" at Hoover's Popcorn Wagon in the Holiday Center, Duluth. She enjoyed volunteering her time with her church in Norton Park, at the American Legion Post 71, and the Red Hat Society. Lucy was preceded in death by the following; Father Carl L Larson, Mother Elise M (Larson) Zant, Husband Harold J "Red" Rudeck, Son Harvey L Rudeck, Brothers Phillip Larson and Leroy Larson. She will be greatly missed by her children Allan S (Linda) Rudeck, Cheryl R Hocevar, Michele M (John) Davey, daughter in law Patricia A. (Harvey) Rudeck, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and her special companions Natalie Kromschroeder and Jamie Larson, to whom the family is eternally grateful. A celebration of life will be held from 11am to 3pm, Friday December 1st, 2017 at the American Legion Post 71, 5814 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807.
