Obituary of Freda White

Age 101, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2017 at Johanna Shores Presbyterian Homes, surrounded by her family. Freda was born in Santa Monica, California in 1916. She married Edwin White in 1940; they enjoyed life among family and their many friends in Southern California until moving to Minnesota in 1992 to be near their daughter and family. Once in Minnesota they developed many close friends, notably at Creekside Senior Center in Bloomington. Freda was preceded in death by Edwin in 2000, after 60 years of marriage. Freda will be remembered by her daughter Susan (Ed); grandchildren Caroline (Tom), and Laura (Hart); great-grandchildren Samuel, Andrew, Benjamin, Margaret and Isabel; nieces and nephews and dear friend, Sean. A special thank you to the 3N staff of Johanna Shores and the Optage Hospice staff for their loving care. Friends are invited to join in celebrating her life at a Memorial Service: 2:00 pm, Saturday November 25, Johanna Shores Presbyterian Homes Chapel, Arden Hills. Internment at Fort Snelling in the spring. Memorials preferred to Creekside Community Center, Bloomington, or Johanna Shores Presbyterian Homes.
