Obituary of Cleo Lundin

Cleo (Kostal) Lundin, 96, of Duluth, passed away peacefully November 15, 2017 in the Viewcrest Health Center with her family by her side. She was born to Joseph and Mae Kostal in Virginia, MN. She attended and graduated from Marquette School and Roosevelt High School. Cleo met Orlin Rehbein and they married and moved to Duluth. Several years later he was killed in a construction accident in Michigan where he was working as an Iron Worker. Cleo loved to bowl and had many hobbies. She loved to go to the casino. She met Eric “Les” Lundin and they were married October 6, 1961 and remained married until his death on September 4, 2016. Cleo loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Faye Glatch; and brother-in-law, Donald Glatch; brother, Floyd and sister-in-law, Zaida O Brien; grandson, Christopher Rehbein; husband, Orlin Rehbein; and husband, Eric Lester “Les” Lundin. Cleo is survived by her daughter, Patricia (James) Kasell; sons Lloyd Rehbein, Randy Rehbein; ex daughter-in-law, Susan Classen, eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; many cousins; nieces and nephews; and specially her great-grand dog, Woodrow. The family would like to thank Dr. Jessica-Krog Breeuwer and St. Luke’s Internal Medicine Drs., St. Luke’s Hospice and especially the staff at Viewcrest Nursing Center for the excellent care Mom received. Visitation: 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Memorial Service, Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth.
