Obituary of Kathleen Mae Anderson

Anderson, Kathleen "Kay" M. (nee Levine)

Age 92 of Maplewood, MN, passed away peacefully from cancer on Thurs., Nov. 10, 2022.

Born February 21, 1930, in St. Paul to Arnold and Lola Levine.  Kay married the love of her life, William Anderson, in Nov. 1948.

She is survived by her children, Robert, Joy (Kenneth) Hutchinson; and daughter-in-law, Angela; grandchildren, Josh (Kari), Kerri (Eric), Lindsay and Tracy; and great-grandchild, Josephine; step-grandchildren, Frank and Jay; loving siblings, Jeannine (Isao) Yamashita of WA, Geraldine Houle, Martin "Skip"(Elaine) Levine, Karen Krech, and Bruce "Butch" Levine of AZ, and many loved nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by parents, Arnold and Lola; husband, William; son, Donald; infant daughter, Sandra; stepson, Gary; step-grandson, Curt; siblings, Shirley, Elaine, Roger, Aldon, Patsy, and Dannie.

Kay loved her family above all. She was a strong, generous and caring woman who devoted many career years serving lunch in St. Paul Schools. She enjoyed gatherings with her kids, grandchildren and great-granddaughter - making the best mac and cheese, her evening glass of wine, her daily walks with her fur buddy Stewart and visiting her wonderful neighbors. She was loved and will be missed by family and friends.
