Obituary of Harlan Cook
Richard “Harlan” Cook passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Hennepin County Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1940, in Duluth, MN, the son of Thaddeus Joseph and Margaret (Tofte) Cook. He was a 1958 graduate of Central High School, Duluth, MN. He owned C & S Decorating for many years before retirement and was well known for his ideas and perfectionism. Harlan loved to golf, fish, bowl and was a member of the Elks. He was also a member of the Minnesota Air Force National Guard.
He is survived by daughter Julee, brothers Leon, Tate, Michael, Marshall and sisters Margaret(Peg), Pat, Mary and Cathy together with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Harlan are invited to a service of remembrance that will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Cremation Society of MN - Edina, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN.
