My Granmother written by First Grandson, Donnie Anderson
My Grandma was a hard working, dedicated loving and strong willed woman. She passed her work ethics down from her Children to her Grandchildren and even her Greatgrandchildren
This woman was so dedicated she was working part time up until she was 88 years of age
She was married to my Grandfather (Charles C Stanton) for more then 20 years
She also had a long time companion in Tom Rea just short of 20 years until he passed away
For a woman who never drove she knew the cities like the back of her hand, anywhere we needed to go she knew how to get there
There were plenty of times when I personally got lost in the cities, I'd pick up the phone and call her. She could tell me exactly where to go. Who needs a GPS when you have Grandma
Being the Matriarch of the Family up until she went to Nursing home most Holidays were held at her home
She really was the glue that kept this Family together as one!
She was very proud posing for the
5 Generation picture with each new GreatGreat Grandchild being added to the Family
Children that she maintained as close a relationship with as possible
She will be missed by many!
Love you Grandma❤️
Celebration of Carmela's life will be December 2, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 pm at The Cremation Society of Minnesota; 1979 Old Hudson Road; St. Paul, MN 55119.
