Obituary of Leo Charles Haley

Leo Charles Haley passed away peacefully on Friday, 10/21/22 in Minneapolis. Leo was born on September 5, 1938 to Willard and Mary Haley.

Leo was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was always happiest at his cabin on Lake Minnewawa in McGregor, MN. He enjoyed visiting Florida, cutting wood in the fall, and would never turn down goodies, especially from Burnett Dairy. He always had a good story and a funny wisecrack. He will be missed.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mary, brothers Danny Haley and Jim Haley, and sister Joan. 

He is survived by his children Jeff (Jan) Haley, Brent Haley, and Cassie (Troy) Krusemark, sisters Betty Talbot and Mary Kay Tozier, cousin Tony (Delores) Sibet, good friends Dick Gross and Bill Warner, 9 grandchildren – Jaime (Seth) Jacobson, Jordyn (Kevin) Olson, Mackenzie Gabert, Gil (Ariel) Haley, Jonny Haley, Hannah (Jeremiah) Stevens, McKenna Krusemark, Collin Krusemark, and Isabelle Haley, 2 ½ great grandchildren – Gavin and Bennett Jacobson and baby Stevens, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a celebration of life for Leo in Spring 2023.
