I went to high school with Steven. I did not know him very well, but in seeing his photo here I was reminded of him being a nice, quiet, decent guy. My condolences to all of his family at this difficult time. God bless and Godspeed Steven...

I very saddened of the lose of my good friend Steven Nordlander. Steven and I go back to the second grade at Lakeside School. I vividly remember the day that met. Our teacher whom I can’t recall her name said “We have another young boy named Steven in the classroom I will introduce you to him”. I remember introducing myself to a quite and shy kid and telling him I will be your friend my name is Steven Zimski. Steven and I hit it of right from the start. We continued our friendship all the way through High School and beyond. We took many classes together in High School and one that we both enjoyed was in our Senior year. We took the school bus every day to Vo-Tech for Auto Body. We both had a keen interest in cars even when we were little kids growing up. Through the years we went our separate ways leading us in our own directions. When we would occasionally see each around the area our conversation always lead back to our youth and cars. My sympathy and condolences go out to the entire Nordlander family. Especially for Mrs. Nordlander. I will truly miss you Steven and always will be thinking of you. God Bless.
