Obituary of Marvin Eugene Johnston

Marvin (Marv) Johnston, Age 89, of Oakdale, MN passed away peacefully after years of health problems on Sunday, October 23, 2022.

He was predeceased by his wife, Leona; parents, Kenneth and Johanna; sisters, Marlys and Elaine.

Marv was survived by his children, Glenn, Cynthia, Connie, Cathy; grandchildren, Matthew, Denise (Kelly) Josephson, Ashley; sibling, Darlene (Allen) Tunberg; nieces, Heidi Tunberg and Lisa (Alan) Henderson.

He had worked for MN DOT in Oakdale for 40 plus years.  He then went to work for FEMA after retirement for many years.  He enjoyed giving to various charities to help those in need.

Memorial service at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Cremation Society of MN-St Paul Chapel, 1979 Old Hudson Rd.
