Obituary of Sandy Alexander

After a brave battle with cancer, Sandy "Sis" Alexander died on November 21, 2017 in Minneapolis, MN at the age of 49. She leaves her boyfriend, Tim Cole, and her daughters Randi Bellefy and Taya Bellefy. Sandy was born on May 27, 1968 in St. Paul, MN, to father John Alexander and mother Vera Alexander. Sandy grew up in Isanti, MN. Sandy is survived by her daughters and parents, as well as her brother John Alexander III, (sister in-law Andrea Alexander), her nephews JC and Tyler, and her sister April Alexander. Sandy enjoyed working for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. When diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer in 2016, she remained dedicated to her work and in her will to fight her illness. She lived life to its fullest and her passions included cooking, painting, golf and riding motorcycles. Sandy has requested to be cremated. Her ashes will be interred at a plot in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery Weber MN. She has also requested no service to be held, however a celebration of life instead. A family dinner will be held in her honor, and an announcement will go out on the celebration of life bike run & party come spring of 2018.
