Obituary of Carmen Lynn Packard

Carmen Lynn Packard, 67 years of age, of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2022, from a stroke at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a few family members and a close friend by her side.

Carmen was born on December 11, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Albert Swensen and Jean (McClean) Higgins.  She had two younger sisters, Chelean (Shellie), and Jean (Jeannie), and a younger brother, Michael (Mick).

Carmen joined her predeceased parents, Albert Swanson and Jean, Wayne Higgins (stepfather), Chelean Swanson (sister), and Lloyd Ferrell (brother-in-law).  She is survived by her partner, Anthony Priolo, her loving daughter, Jennefier Packard, her grandchildren Nathan (21), Emma Leigh (16), Tyler (12), Bayleigh (10), Anna (2), Zane (4), and soon to be born baby True.  Carmen is also survived by her sister Jeannie and brother Mick, and her nieces and nephews Jake, Joey, Adam, Amai, Sami, Meghan, Mikayla, Melissa, A.J., Angelica, Wayne, Johnny, and Randy.

Carmen was definitely a family girl, especially during holidays.  She loved spending time with her sisters, nieces, nephews and her grandchildren, whom she called her joys.  She was joyous every time she spent time with them.  But when it came to relationships, our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ were the ones she put first in her life.  She loved Him and praised Him every day from prayer groups, to Bible journaling, or angels with junk cards and junk journaling, all while talking with God.
