Obituary of Orville Charles O’Donnell

O'Donnell, Orville C. Age 78, of Garrison, MN, passed away November 24, 2017 after a struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Orville was the youngest of 10 children born to Nelson and Alice O'Donnell. After growing up in South Minneapolis, he married CarolAnn (Sue) Lies and they raised their 3 children in NE Minneapolis. Orville retired from Ford Motor Company after a 31-year career at the St Paul factory and moved to Garrison. He was preceded in death by all 9 of his siblings. He is survived by his spouse, CarolAnn, and his 3 children, Raymond (fiancée Carol), Daniel (Lori) and Michael (Lori), his grandchildren, Barbara, Stephanie, Chie and Mary, as well as his 2 great-grandchildren, Alec and Monica. There will be a memorial gathering at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Garrison on Saturday, December 2 from 11 to 2 pm with a light lunch to follow.
