Age 87 of Maplewood

Died peacefully August 18, 2018, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents, siblings and husband James. Survived by children Mary (Tom) Menter, Jim (Jean), Kathy (Greg) Bothwell, Jean (Wayne) Freidl, Kevin (Karen), Brian (Amie) and Patrick (Char), 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Maureen was dearly loved by many friends and community organizations where she volunteered including Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Dorothy Day Center, Ramsey County Home and the Listening Center. She was also a tireless volunteer for Presentation parish where she cleaned the church and also worked funeral lunches, school lunches, bake sales and the 55 Club. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 24 at 11 am at the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1725 Kennard St., Maplewood. Visitation one hour prior. Internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
