Obituary of Amanda Jean Marzolf

Amanda Jean Marzolf of Duluth passed away unexpectedly on the morning of September 1, 2022.

Amanda was born in Duluth, MN on October 15, 1982, to Laurie and Brian Marzolf. She had big brown eyes and a beautiful smile. She grew up and attended school in Superior, WI. After graduation she went to DBU and got a degree in Graphic Design. She lived in Virginia, MN for several years before moving back to the Duluth area. She then went to LSC to take courses to become a Paralegal. She was always an amazing artist. She recently began taking pictures around Lake Superior, a place she loved. She had a fun-loving spirit and a heart of gold. She was so very loved by all her family. We are left devastated and will miss her very much.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents Don Youngdahl of Duluth, Ottilla Marzolf and Andrew Marzolf, of Minot, ND, and her stepfather Mike Lindquist.

She is survived by her four precious children that she loved dearly; Lily, Kane Draxton and Drake, her mother Laurie Lindquist of Superior, WI, her father Brian Marzolf of Lake Mary, FL, her two brothers who called her “Sissy” when they were younger; Wyatt Marzolf of Superior, WI and Ryan (Melissa) Marzolf of Maple, WI, grandmother Jean Youngdahl of Duluth, MN and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew who will miss her.

A Celebration of our beloved Amanda’s life will be held at a later date.
