Obituary of Mark David Patenaude

Mark David Patenaude, 55, of Duluth, passed away at home on September 20th, 2022, after bravely battling cancer for the past 13 months.

Mark worked for the Duluth School District for over 30 years, most recently as a Building Engineer at Homecroft Elementary. Mark loved playing golf with his wife and friends, his two kitties, riding his motorcycle, spending time with family and friends, and sitting in front of the fire pit.

Mark is survived by his wife, Amy; sister, Barb Greene (John LaFaive); nephews, Nick Greene and Nathan Greene; mother-in-law, LaVonne Eck; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Julie and Chad DuBois; niece, Lauren DuBois and nephew, Zack DuBois.

We are so thankful for the wonderful care Mark received at Mayo, Essentia Duluth, and Essentia Hospice.

A celebration of life will be held at the Cremation Society of MN in Duluth on September 27, 2022. The visitation will be held at 2 pm with the service at 3 pm.
