Obituary of Sharon Lee Gay

Sharon Lee Gay, age 83,  of Deephaven, MN passed away on Sept. 15, 2022. Preceded in death by her husband James S. Gay and her parents Helen and Lloyd James.Survived by her siblings, Deb (Sid) Wahl, and Terry James; children, Heather (Parker Hodges) Gay, Kent Gay, Stephen Geoffrey, Janet (Hodge) Bryan, and JL (Diane) Gray; grandchildren, Joshua Nelson, Luc (Rachel) Nelson, Jillian Bryan, Jamie Bryan, Zoe Hodges, and Atticus Hodges; and great-grandchild, Willa Nelson. Sharon was born in Canton, SD and graduated from high school in Sioux Falls, SD. She graduated from South Dakota State with a degree in home economics;  taught at Worthington Senior High School, Worthington Junior High School and Worthington Community College; and worked with Head Start. After her husband’s passing, she moved to Plymouth, remained active in church and enjoyed time with family and friends.
