Obituary of James W. Dalbacka

James W. Dalbacka, 67, Proctor, formerly of White Bear Lake and Eden Prairie, MN, passed away November 27, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. He was born to Willard and Frances Dalbacka in Duluth. He was a graduate of Floodwood High School. A combat veteran of the Vietnam War, he later worked at PerkinElmer, and retired from Veeco. Jim had a gift for mechanical fixes. He loved the outdoors and spending time at the Paddy Bay cabin in Canada. Preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law Gary Indahl; niece and nephew. He is survived by son, Joshua; sisters, Virginia Holloman, Sheila (Ralph) Autio, Patti Indahl and Angie (Marty) Cody; nieces and nephews; special friends Larry and Barb Lund and the entire Lund family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
