Obituary of Diane Delores Endres
Endres, Diane D.
Age 80, of Marco Island, FL passed away peacefully September 15, 2022.
Diane Delores Molitor was born April 23, 1942 to Raymond and Bernice (Gerster) Molitor at home on the family farm in Cannon Falls, MN. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1960 and then went on to St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, MN where she received her RN degree. Diane married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Endres on August 17, 1963 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Miesville, MN. Diane started her nursing career at Regina Hospital in Hastings and then as the school nurse in Knoxville, Iowa. Later Diane would work for Daytons in St. Paul and for Macys. Diane and Bob retired to Marco Island where they loved to host friends and family, travel, golf, walks, dancing and their happy hour friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband; children, Michelle, Craig and Peter; brother, Gene Molitor; brother-in-law, Joe Niebur.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Jennifer; daughter-in-law, Peggy; grandchildren, Taylor, Brendan (Emily) Leehe, Vanessa (Tom) Mangatu, Brian Fortier, Liz (Jason) Graham, Ben Weinhandl; siblings, Rae (Dick) Otterstrom, Theresa Niebur, Charlie (Patrice) Molitor; and sister-in-law, Rita Molitor.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 24, 2022 at 11 AM (10-11AM visitation) at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings, MN 55033.
