Obituary of Gerry Watters

Gerry “BOSS MAN” Watters, 72 of Duluth passed away peacefully in his sleep September 9, 2022.

Gerry was born to Kenneth and Nel Watters in Duluth, MN on March 25, 1950.

Gerry grew up working with his dad and eventually taking over the family business Watters and Sons Excavating. In the winter months Gerry enjoyed logging. Gerry loved being outside and enjoyed farming in his younger years. He was a huge part of the surrounding communities. He spent his free time with his family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughters Mariah and Willow. Gerry was a very kind man with a huge heart, he would give his shirt off his back for anyone.

Gerry is proceeded in death by his parents Kenneth and Nel Watters.

Gerry is survived by his wife of 52 years Pam Watters; His sons Willie (Kathy) Watters, Waylon Watters; his daughter Jessie (Ryan) Jackman; His brother Kenny Watters; his sisters Sandy (Dick) Levine; Nancy (Greg) Francisco; Mary Klints; his grandchildren Mariah, Willow, Keelie, Kaila, Hunter, and Darren. Many nieces and nephews and many friends.

Celebration of Life: Saturday September 24, 2022, at the Gnesen Community Center, 6356 Howard Gnesen Road. Visitation will be from 11:00 am-2:00 pm with the service to follow. Luncheon will be at 3:00 pm.
