Obituary of Donovan Luke Brausen

Brausen, Donovan Luke "Henny" Age 83, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away unexpectedly of old age on December 1st, 2017. Donovan was born on November 3rd, 1934 in Buckman, MN. He is survived by loving companion of his last 25 years, Merry Keefe; brother, Michael; sons, Greg, Gary (Rosey) and Chris; grandchildren, Jordan, Cole, Bennett and Alec; and long time friend and ex-wife Shirley Brausen. He is proceeded in death by parents, Ida and John Sr.; brothers, John Jr. and Gordon; and daughter in law Sarah Wadsworth. His quick wit and one-liners would make comedian Henny Youngman proud, hence his nickname of many years. Donovan was dedicated to his family and friends, lived life to the fullest, loved to laugh and made this world a much better and entertaining place to be. He will be missed so much by so many. A memorial service in Donovan's honor will be held on Friday, December 15th at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, St. Paul Chapel, 1979 Old Hudson Rd, St Paul, MN. Visitation at 10:00 AM, memorial service at 11:00 AM followed by a lunch at Noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Donovan's memory to "A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation."
