Obituary of Jeffrey M. Bielec

Bielec, Jeffrey “Jeff” M. Age 68, of Burnsville, passed away peacefully with family by his side on August 27, 2022 from early onset Alzheimer’s disease.  He was born April 13, 1954 in Int’l Falls, MN to Chet and Lila Bielec.  Jeff graduated from Falls High School in 1972 and later moved to the Twin Cities.  He met Wanda and they were married on June 9, 1979.  He attended Dakota County Vo Tech. He worked at Frontier Communications for 30 years as a telephone tech and was an all-around handyman.  He enjoyed volunteering with the Boy Scouts and the Prince of Peace Furniture Ministry.  His loves included deer hunting, classic cars, music, biking, traveling, history, walks, old sitcoms and biblical movies, but his greatest joy was spending time with family and especially being Papa to his grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Brent and Stan; sister Susan; and three premature grandsons. Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Wanda; sons, Brent (Heather) and Bryce (Laura); grandchildren, Anders, Edyn, Gloria and Paul; brother, Randy; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.  Memorial service will be Friday, September 30th at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13801 Fairview Drive, Burnsville.  Interment at Dawn Valley Memorial Park, Bloomington.  Special thank you to the staff at Arbor Lane and St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care.  In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
