Obituary of James William Lund

Lund, James William passed away peacefully at his home on December 1, 2017 at the age of 85. He was born to Arnold and Evelyn Lund and lived his entire life in Minneapolis. In 1977, he retired from the Minnesota Air National Guard as a Lt. Col, after serving 21 years as a navigator. He also taught secondary math for the St. Paul public schools from 1957 to 1997 at St. Paul Central and Highland Park High Schools. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne (Amlie) Lund. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda and Debbie; his son, Brian; his brothers, Jerry and Tom; his loving companion, Ester; and by his three grandchildren, Jennifer, Helen, and Mitchell. There will be a memorial service at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 7 at the Cremation Society of Minne-sota, 4343 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in his memory to American Heart Association.
