Please accept my condolences on the passing of your Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, and Brother. Know that he was a favorite of my dad, his uncle Ernie. It was my pleasure to get to spend some time with Gordy during my retirement years. We had a wild ride one evening down in Rochester after having dinner with his Aunt Lois, Aunt Alley and myself. Lois was driving...Gordy and I shared some chit chat about reading the biography"s of United States President. I loaned him a copy on Lyndon Johnson by Robert Caro and Beverly returned it via usps with a nice letter. I had just read the "Plant a Tree" part of his obituary and the next day discovered a new young oak tree down in my woods in French River and I will do my utmost to nurture it and protect it from deer.
