Obituary of Leota Yvonne Glover

Glover, L. Yvonne (I-von), age 93 of Minnetonka, passed away on August 8th, 2022. Preceded in death by her beloved parents Henry Clinton and Edna Bell Eastham, beloved grandsons Gabriel Ned Glover and Clinton Nye Glover. Yvonne was a loving gentle soul who could be a stalwart force for her family. Raising 3 boys necessitated a tough exterior at times mixed with tender love and compassion. She was thoughtful, kind, opinionated, and strong to the end, doing it ‘her way’. Yvonne loved playing games, was an avid reader, and enjoyed working on puzzles. She cherished time with family, and she loved her golf! Yvonne grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and was a ‘city kid’ through and through. She is survived by the love of her life to which she was married for 72 years William (Bill). Also survived by sons Jeffrey (Gail), Scott (Jan) and Mark (Elizabeth), 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Sincere appreciation to the Park Nicollet Hospital Hospice Team and N.C. Little Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory at the Minnesota Ronald McDonald House or to N.C. Little Hospice in Edina. A celebration of life will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, on September 10th, from 11am to 2pm. Memories and stories start at 1130am.
