Ronald Charles Richards

Age 69 of Newport, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on August 10, 2022.  Born May 13, 1953 in Madison, WI, to Eugene and Claudine Richards (Hurda). Ron worked as an engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation and retired in 2018 after over 35 years of service.  Ron was a loving father and grandfather. Survived by his son Nikolas (Nicole) Richards; his daughter Jacqueline (Bhuvan) Richards-Shrestha; his grandchildren, Nikolas, Nora, Nolan and Aria; and Danette Richards. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Toys for Tots or a charity of your choice.  A celebration of life is planned for August 26, 2022 from 5pm – 8pm at Farquar Park in Apple Valley, MN.
