Obituary of Helene Arlene Williams

Our mother Helene Williams born October 12, 1924, passed away peacefully at Aftenro Home in Duluth on August 10, 2022 at the age of 97. She was a life long resident of Duluth and a Duluth Denfeld graduate. She had many bookkeeping jobs over the years, retiring from the Radisson Hotel in 1989. She kept busy with her many volunteer and hobby activities. Loved gardening and her pets. Supported the Duluth Playhouse and Symphony. Life long Democrat and member of Eastern Star. Attended Concordia Lutheran Church for many years. Survived by her three sons, John (Gail), Robin and Eric (Cheryl), three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents Ingworth and Jane Erickson, Sister Delores Johnston of Portland OR, first husband Joe Stewart and second husband Wayne Williams, and her  son Mark Williams. Many thanks to Aftenro and St. Lukes Hospice Staff. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m, followed by a service at 2 p.m., Friday, August 19, at Forest Hills Cemetery Chapel in Duluth.
