Obituary of Maxine Lorraine Bradford

Maxine Lorraine Bradford passed away on December 10, 2017. She was born September 9, 1923 in Duluth, MN to John and Tillie Peterson. She graduated from Central High School, Class of 1942. Upon graduation, she traveled to Washington, D.C. with several friends and worked for the FBI during the war. While in D.C. she shared an apartment with her cousin Arline and several years later roomed together again in Assisted Living. Maxine married Robert Bradford, Sr. in 1957. She loved animals especially dogs. Often, she would walk a very gentle (wolf/dog) named Sam in her Lakeside neighborhood. Maxine for several years, helped many people get to their appointments on time as a volunteer driver for St. Louis County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (2002), her parents and brother, Jim Peterson (1981). Maxine is survived by her children, Randy (Linda), Robert (Jean), Molly (Kevin Busche) and Julie (John) Dewine; four grandchildren, Robert III, Sydney, Darby and Claire Dewine and great grandson, Ashton. The family would like to thank the staff at Chris Jensen for their loving care of Maxine. Maxine was a contributor to Animal Allies. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Animal Allies. Services will be held at a later date.
