Obituary of Lois Mae Erickson

Lois lost her battle with Alzheimers on December 14th, 2017. Lois is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Richard (Dick) Erickson, her 2 daughters Krista Yuronich and Karla (Jason) Hengtgen; 5 grandchildren Melissa, Kelsey (Jeff), Katelyn (Matt), Richard and Mitchell; and 2 great grandchildren Kendall and Tristan; along with her brothers Gene (Mary) Hagglund and Jim (Anita) Hagglund, and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Alice Hagglund, brother John Hagglund,, and son Craig Richard Erickson. Lois was born in St. Paul, MN on October 4th, 1936. She worked at a job she loved as an educator for over 30 years, and retired as a principal in the White Bear School District. She loved to volunteer, travel with her husband, and they enjoyed many winters in Florida. More than anything Lois loved to spend time with her family. They enjoyed many summer vacations together, and a trip of a lifetime to Disneyworld! She will be missed by so many, and was loved by even more. Gathering of friends and family to celebrate Lois's life will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Cremation Society of Minnesota; 1979 Old Hudson Road; St. Paul, MN 55119. Memorial Service at Hosanna Lutheran Church on Thursday, December 21, 2107 at 11:00 AM; Hosanna Lutheran Church; 9300 Scandia Trail N,; Forest Lake, MN 55025 with luncheon to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to Alzheimers' Association, Local schools or charity of your choice
